2013 EMA Students Starting Their Study at School of Economics
On Sept. 2nd, 2013, the School of Economics welcomed a new group of EMA students from abroad to start their new semester here.

In the year 2013, the School of Economics enrolled 33 overseas EMA students in total, who came from 18 different countries all over the world, expanding the global coverage of our EMA program to 42 countries and contributing to the internationalization of our School of Economics.

On Sept. 4th, an orientation event was held for the EMA fresh students in Classroom 201 of the School of Economics, together with the kicking-off of the Buddy Program designed by the School to facilitate their living and study in Shanghai.

Prof. Yin Xiangshuo, associate dean, was invited to the orientation to give a welcome speech to all the students.

Ms. Meng Jian, who is in charge of the EMA Program, also made a speech introducing Fudan University and the School of Economics, the EMA course arrangement, course evaluation, graduation thesis and student affair administration.

Starting from this year, the School of Economics launches a Buddy Program, encouraging Chinese students of the School to be volunteers for fresh foreign students and offer them timely support and help in order that the fresh students can blend into School of Economics and get adapted to the life and study in Fudan University as soon as possible.
